Marian Harris Busby

Marian Harris Busby age 91 of Valley Grande, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 28, 2024.

She was born on December 18, 1932 to the late Harold Hayes Oliver and the late Mable Morrow Oliver.

She was a faithful member of the Houston Park Church of Christ.

Ms. Busby is survived by her children, Tommy Harris (Selena) and Jane Harris; grandchildren, John Harris, Mary Kathryn Marks (Rusty), Kendall Copeland, Samuel “Sam” Henderson (Katie); and seven great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Ned Harris and William Busby; children, Kimberly Harris and Walter Harris; great-grandson, Tucker Marks; and sisters, Mary Claire Taylor and Camille Hunter.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Pineview Memory Gardens in Valley Grande, Alabama with Elder Doug Morrow officiating.

There will be no visitation, everyone please meet in the cemetery for the graveside service.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Houston Park Church of Christ.
